Homemade Soup

Filed under: Homecooked — FoodEater @ 5:11 pm

Not very pretty but it sure was tasty. It was basically the remaining pumpkin from yesterdays meal, pureed with vegetable broth, parsley, spinach, dried cranberries and garlic. Also put in some pepper, cayenne, cumin and allspice. This was all blended to a somewhat smooth yet still kinda lumpy consistency. Then I mixed it in with the leftover couscous-mushroom-peppers concoction from yesterday, heated, and topped with a drizzle of hemp seed oil. It was super good, but if I attempt something like this again I’ll use less garlic.
