Real Food Daily

Filed under: Real Food Daily — FoodEater @ 6:46 pm

This was my first visit to Real Food Daily, an organic, vegan restaurant in West Hollywood. Everything we had was amazing.

Nachos with jalapeno/cashew “cheese”.

Reuben sandwich at Real Food Daily

Pictured here is the “Total Rueben”, with tempeh, herbed tofu cheese spread, thousand island dressing and sauerkraut. Loved it. The bread wasn’t really burned, it just looks that way in the photo for some reason. It was served with Asian style cole-slaw (something in this had a bitter flavor that I didn’t like so much).

  1. I am so jealous about the choice of vegan restaurants. That’s really great. In our town of 160.000 inhabitants there is not even a vegetarian restaurant. Thank you for linking to us.

  2. Harald- Yes, I realize we are very lucky here in Southern California. It seems like there’s a new veg or vegan place opening up every other day! There used to be only a few places just a few years ago, now there’s at least a vegan Thai place springing up in nearly every neighborhood. And you’re very welcome for the link, your site is an inspiration and always makes me hungry!!!
