That salad is unreal!

I love it when restaurants (or in this case taco stands!) provide great vegan options.

Very cool - thanks for sharing!

Allison: I'm so glad you liked it! I'm also tickled pink to know that my good reviews are subconsciously sinking into your mind... perhaps in the future I will be able to just telepathically recommend restaurants to folks while they're out on the road looking for place to eat :)

Yes! The other day my friends and I were driving from the beach back to Griffith Park for a kickball game (not a bad weekend at all) and stopped here because we were starrrving. I think I'm subconsciously remembering all your restaurant reviews and managing to convince my friends that we have to try all these places. It was so good.

Julie: I know right? That honey chipotle salsa is like nectar from the Mexican food gods! If there's one thing on this earth that would prevent me from ever excluding honey from my diet, this would be it.

Scott: Ewwww gross. I'm sorry that happened to you... especially with something like this soyrizo which looks and tastes a lot like meat, it would be really hard to tell if something stray got in there. Grody to the max.

The kitchen is really small and they're working in some pretty tight quarters, so I can see how mistakes happen. Considering too that it's not an exclusively vegetarian place I guess it's a risk... but for something this tasty, it's a risk I'm willing to take! I think the taquitos are pre-made, so at least with those you can be reasonable assured that nothing extra made it in.

Trina: So true... food porn with burritos is nearly non-existent. I was surprised this one came out as well as it did... burrito pics usually turn out rather nasty, or just plain boring.
