Allison: Yes, the Taste of Life tofu is the bomb!

Cookiemouse: Indeed, the Hollywood Farmers Market in particular is really something special... especially for here in L.A. And it's also HUGE!

VeggieGirl: The plan is to make everyone jealous of our fine food so that you will all come to visit us... and boost our flailing economy at the same time :)

Yes!!! Last week I had the kale and BBQ Tofu - which was incredible. This week I hosted a brunch at my house and was semi-confused while walking down to the FM (at 9:30 mind you) to find throngs of people flooding the streets. Ohhhh yeah the Marathon! In any case, about half the vendors were already there so I was able to stock up on strawberries and apples anyway. I love love love Taste of Life.

i'm glad you liked the lasagna. i think it's my absolute favorite. i passed on the FM this weekend, with the reduced hours i wasnt sure who'd be there plus i needed to get to ikea before the throngs of people. i ended up making my awesome burritos last night. looking forward to next weekend though so i can get more lasagna and the piece of corn bread the was left off my plate last weekend.
