This was my first time making scones and I couldn’t have hoped for better results, these are so totally delicious. The recipe is in Isa Chandra Moskowitz’s Vegan Brunch book and they were so easy to make that even a caveman could do it. Drop what you’re doing and go make these immediately, seriously.
p.s. I ate the first one on behalf of @saratea, the second one was all me.

Hmmmm…. I actually have both apples and rosemary right now. I might just have to make these this week!
kim g. You gotta! That’s how I settled on these as well, I actually had the ingredients on hand :) So much more delicious than I could have ever imagined.
I couldn’t find this recipe in Veganomicon… bummer
Sandy: Argh… that was my mistake! It’s not in the Veganomicon, it’s in the Vegan Brunch book, pages 180-183. My apologies for the mix-up, thanks for noticing, and I will fix my post accordingly. Worth tracking down, they are delicious!
Made the rosemary apple scones yesterday – they were totally wonderful. Everyone loved them, I added walnuts to the second batch, that was even nicer.
